Shyamadundra Badekkila Scholarship for Disabled Artists

Inspired by the story of a renowned sculptor of Mysore, Karnataka, Mr. Shyamsundar Bhat Badekkila, who, without being deterred by a severe polio attack, pursued his true calling in life through sheer determination and dedication, the project aims to create a livelihood for the disabled artisans from rural areas around the country through a scholarship fund under the name of Mr. Shyamsundar Bhat’s, enabling the artists to become ‘Artnirbhar’.
